Each person brings their individual needs to a Mentor.

Mentor's Responsibility
A Mentor's duty is to impart his experience and understanding and to advise for his student's growth. This, combined with the students input, dictate the direction and time needed to achieve his or her desired goals.

Why Play the Drums?
Most importantly, to have fun! The drums are an instrument to enjoy. Cherish the friendships that will grow from your playing!!
PERFORMANCE

This is what you have practiced for.....
You've waited for the opportunity to play with your bandmates. You've rehearsed your set list and now your time has come to be one with the music.
Performance is about expanding your muisical envelope. Pushing the limits of the music and yourself. This type of performance can be sublime.
Preparation and practice are the keys to moving beyond personal performance containment.
RECORDING

Recording is a different animal than live performance. It is about control without tension.
What will I see in a studio, how will I react, how do I calm my nerves, how do I play to a click track in my ear...
Pull back your adrenalin adjust a little and you will succeed!
RELATIONSHIP
​
The relationships you build while playing music will last a lifetime.
Be kind, considerate and humble, but do not sacrifice your voice -- your colour -- to achieve what you think you want.
Hold your friends and family close and believe in yourself!
